Really unusual you are Brat :) but i liiiiiikkkkkee ;)

Yes sir! someone has to maintain a sense of humor and levity here on the Sino Defense Forum, I'm not making light of what we do here, in fact its more important than most of you realize. We the men of the Sino Defense Forum, are forging relationships and bonds out of raw steel. ( we are gentlemen, and would let the girls play if they had any desire? but they don't? chicks really don't get into international relations, unless its "Married at First Sight"?)

I'm here to make sure we don't blow this assignment by taking ourselves to seriously?? if you want to know what happens when folks take themselves to seriously, just step over onto our sister forum, "Defense Talk". The Mod's are prolly a good bunch of guys, but, they are so up-tight, they get their "panties in a wad", for example, NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO SAY ANYTHING NICE ABOUT THE F-22, NOR is anyone allowed to disparage the F-35 in any way shape or form???

. Webby you ought to assume an "alter ego" and check it out yourself?? HEH! HEh! HEH! Anyway, here on the SDF, respect and good manners are the "order of the day", everyone is allowed to speak, and those who we disagree with, are still shown kindness and a good sense of humor. Those who cross the line are warned, counseled, and rehabilitated if possible, and most of us have received a warning or at least a deleted post. All in a humble attempt to keep this forum factual, honest, and respectful.

We owe it all to Webby and his fine team of Mod's, they have made the SDF a labor of love, and a true "Forum", not just a guided discussion! and you fine gentlemen, with you informative, friendly posts, with all the beautiful pictures and illustrations, and your very astute insights, keep this a sanctuary for honorable gentlemen, and a place where true friendship gives each of us in-sight into our fellow man, and hopefully a place where we can share our best, and in the process get to "know" and "respect" one another.

thanks for sharing Forbin, and the Mach Loop is as unique as this forum, wish I lived close by, I'd go watch airplanes every day, very kool, and a nice flying display. Keeps it real, and challenging, fun to see a C-130 run the loop, and any other aircraft, just great fun.

Maybe a day " Mr " Fat Albert :D:eek:o_O

When the C-130A's first came out, they did lots of formation flying, and they got very good at Pope AFB, North Carolina. My Dad was stationed there during those early days in the A model, a group of 4 guys began an informal flying team lots of very close formation and kool maneuvers and breaks, etc, etc,. The USAF gave their blessing and they were quite a sight and sound, the called themselves the "Four Horsemen". Look them up on You Tube as they still have a video.

After his first flight in the C-130B, with its heavy flight controls and slower responses, the flight leader pronounced that they were done, the B model was a "truck", and that was the end of the Horsemen! but the A model was a "hot-rod" LOTS of Horsepower, relatively lighter weight, and very light hydraulically boosted controls. In fact my Dad told me that some of those early A's had been looped and rolled???

But its always fun to the see the lovely Raptor, and soon we will be seeing the F-35Bs flying the "Mach Loop", Heh! HEh! Heh!,

A goodness :)

Yes, I would love to see the Raptor in person again with you and the rest of my Sino D buds, watching her on U-tube, you miss the ground shaking, earth splitting vibration and sounds, but it is an amazing airplane. Not saying the T-50 wouldn't be an equal airshow airplane, or even the SU-27,30, or 35s, all great airshow birds with OVT.

When he pulls hard and "vapours out", that is an amazing sight, and sound. Usually in full burner, a treat to watch.
