So, according to the manufacturers of the A300 & AR3, the PLA is indeed purchasing them. A photo of a SR-5 in service was also posted but later lost.

I was just thinking about railguns and also long range artillery rounds like the Vulcano.

Is there anything publicly available on Chinese developments?

We've seen artillery being placed on cargo ships before, and a cheap long-range round with 80-100km range be very useful indeed in all sorts of scenarios.

Is the range of the PHL-03s 70km, 90km, or 150km? I have read conflicting reports on range.

Sigh, this can be found pretty easily by a search...

Rocket: The PHL03 is equipped with a various types of shells. The maximum range of its basic rocket shell is 70 kilometers while the minimum range is 20 kilometers. The salvo time is 38 seconds and the refill time is 20 minutes.

Meanwhile, improved rocket shells were also developed with the maximum range of 150 kilometers. Thus, its long-range strike capability has been further enhanced.

In other words, it depends on the round the PHL03 uses.

If you think about it, this differing range depending on type of rocket makes sense.

Sina says the same. However, I don't how widely fielded the 150km range versions are, but seems like the original 70km range shells fell 20km short of the Russian Smerch, which has a range of 90km.
