J15 production is falling way behind. They need to put a navalized J10C version out quick. J10 is much better superior fighter than J15.

Surely not. The PLANAF will never swap the J-15 for single-engined J-10 Version, never.

Well I never heard any news about PLA is trying to transfer J-10 series to carrier-fighters, usually single-engine jets are not ideal options for carrier.

About J-15 and J-10C, obviously J-10C has better radar and other equipment, but unlike J-10 series, J-15 is related new to PLA, AVIC can upgrade J-15 in the future. SAC now is working on J-11D which has AESA just like J-10C.

Personally I think J-15 is just a temporary solution for PLAN, in the future, with implementing of PLAN's catapult, new J-15B/C or even D will be on services. Perhaps we will also see stealth fighters on PLAN's carrier, it may come from FC-31, or Chengdu's mysterious new carrier-based fighter.

It is certainly expected that the J-15 would be incrementally upgraded as both the PLANAF and its suppliers absorb the nuances and objective/subjective data obtained from test flights. There is now a CATOBAR-capable variant of the J-15 that is rumored to incorporate extensive upgrades such as an AESA radar and WS-10 engines.

So, they have a navalized WS-10 in limited production?
