Would super advanced Japanese ceramic blade CMC gas turbine would be used for the propulsion of this baby?, how about VLS system, SAM, CIWS and naval main gun, are they Japanese designed and made? It would be extremely exciting if any of those are Japanese designed and made  any sources please
Come back when you will have something meaningful to post about Japanese military. With that rule I doubt I'll ever see you posting in this thread ever again.

Since Jeff isn't around the level of discussion took a nosedive... And we ended up with kings of jokes posting things like that or about 'fishing trawler killer' from Taiwan (where somebody got killed) or about 'THAAD in South Korea is a great success for PRC'...

Seems finaly 32 cell's, with 4 Mk-41 there was a doubt between 16 or 32 cell's, AEGIS like with Japanese system as Akizuki but ESSM is a MR SAM don' t have the range of SM-2MR.

On 16 JUN incident, the truth is out of the bag ... ...

Apparently, the 2 Japanese F-15s were terrified and running away from 2 PLAAF Su-30 by shooting his flares. -- It seems the Japanese pilots were frightened after at least 3 confrontational collision style head to head flyby around Diao Yu island airspace, and then after the Su-30 wingman perform a Cobra maneuver to immediately put his Su-30 nose on the closest Japanese F-15 six o'clock.

@ Janiz, I suggest you find a translator to verify the news story inside the youtube link above.

That Taiwanese TV show should not be considered as a serious source for the event (or for anything).

I concur. Taiwanese media is full of sensationalistic claims, like how the Hsiung-Feng missile frightened the PLA so much that they delayed their reunification plans till 2035.

Don't take it too personally, it's obvious that he was being facetious and doing in this thread what SamuraiBlue and other members have done in other threads on the forum, to show how annoying these sort of posts can be...

Who made any claim that THAAD in SK was a success for China? I do not see anyone making such a claim in the SK military thread.

To be fair, the Taiwanese media started the trend by trying to give the incident a positive spin by boasting how powerful the Hsien-Feng missile is instead of taking the deceased's family's feelings into consideration. Not that I agree we should trivialize the death of the fishing boat captain.
