let us do this, let us wait, if by 20th May 2016 you still have no official confirmation or picture. you can confirm he is trolling, if the pictures appear as he says then his credibility will recover, but the guy said 23rd April 2016 first flight; 27th May 2016 it flew, his credibility now is not that great after he mas made such mistakes, but okay let us see if he cries wolf or he is saying the truth

Another option, just a possibility, that You might have omitted: He is indeed reliable, these dates were indeed planned flight dates ... and there are indeed technical issues ??

By the way ... following my latest information from a friend in Russia, no. 06 did indeed a flight on April, 27 with Taras Artzebarsky on the controls and and will be transported to LII during the holidays onboard An-124. First flight there is scheduled for May 12.

Deino, the rumor comes directly from Russia, it did not originate outside Russia, in fact it originated in Airforce.ru.

The friend you quote, is a poster, i know, the reliability now is under question, why?

First there is no picture, all first flights have pictures. this one has at this moment none.

Second they have changed the flight day, there are contradictions, you are saying it flew, in airforce Russia the person who claims the first flight says it did not fly.


No official confirmation has been given and this is the biggest hurdle, russianplanes.net is the most common photographic evidence of a T-50 flight

see latest T-50 picture from April is by Anatoly Burtsev, that is a propaganda picture authorized by the VVS and the Russian Goverment.

Is it possible it will fly on 12th May 2016? yes it is possible, but the chances it is another hoax are higher, why? because after no picture emerged people questioned the reliability, the few websites that reported said non official sources said.....in few words now people has less faith in the rumor and question it more.

Could it be possible, yes it could, but now it has failed to bring any evidence.

Let us all just wait and see. Even if the news report it to fly on May 12th without pics that doesn't mean it did or did not happen.

There you go, first flights, high speed taxi tests, all are likely to bring up issues, which is why they are such big deals, with chase aircraft and fire equipment at stand-by. Deino's sources have been remarkably accurate, and have been corroborated by other anecdotal evidence from around the web. it is a relief that 06-2 has finally flown, now we wait on 2102 at Chengdu with "baited breath"?

i agree let us wait and see. however i disagree in the fact if it really flies on 12th of May 2016, you will see pictures, one month at the most after it flies, the only reason you have no pictures now is because it has not even flown according to the same guy who claimed it flew on 27th April 2016.

After they claimed it flew on 27th April 2016, the people started asking for pictures, since no official confirmation happened and no pictures were available, they started saying in Forums like Aviation ltd key, that T-50-6 was kept hidden and so on, later they changed to a new flight in Airforce.ru forum.

If the rumor is true you will see pictures for sure, at least after 1 or 2 months or right away as it was in all prototypes.

If you do not see pictures then, it means the guy is just a troll
