One either likes or hate Kobe Bryant. Theres no doubt about his skill level, but I feel he was one of the more selfish NBA players to grace the board in the past couple of decades

Well, the Rockets was eliminated last night. Although I am a big fan of the Rockets. I am happy that they got eliminated. With the way they had played all season, I don't think they deserved to advance. I don't even think they deserved to be in the playoffs. They squeezed in at the last minute, literally at last minute.

I have never liked Harden. And the management made one bad decision after another in terms of personnel. They traded talented and young players (most notably Chandler Parsons) and got a whole bunch of old timers. I know that they wanted to win right away, but that's just bad decision and bad strategy. Why the hurry? Harden is still young. Howard is in his prime. And you have a core of young and talented guys with amazing chemistry. Why in hell break them apart and rebuild with a bunch of old timers who can't even win at their prime?

Each one of us is entitled to his/her opinion.

Apparently you've not watched Kobe very much. Five NBA championships do not spell selfish.

Sorry but I have to disagreed with you there in regards to Chandler Parson. He suck, Dallas Maverick haven't fair any better with him. Only loud mouth Maverick owner Mark Cuban makes a big deal out of it because he hated the Rockets General Manager Darryl Morrey that was all.

Well, you can't blame one person on a team's performance, especially not a role player like Parsons. Let's face it. He is never a super star and is at best a good role player. However, if used properly, he can be very effective, as he showed when he was in Houston.

With that said, Parsons did well this season. He averaged about 14 points this season, which is about his career average. His effectiveness was +15, which was about 4th on the team. He was performing as expected. It's just that the entire Dallas team sucked.

Dallas and Houston both share the same weakness: not deep enough. They spent so much money on a few super stars and had no money left to get any decent players. It was a mistake for Dallas to spend so much money on Parsons to begin with. He didn't worth that kind of money. The same was with Jeremy Lin when he came to Houston.

Talking about Lin. He is doing very well with Charlotte after that disaster sting with the Lakers.

True, but one can blame him for that last second poor defense two years ago when Portland player Lillard hit the game winning shot due to Parson's lazy defense to get over and guard his man. Just like J Lin, Parson is overrated.
