Those radar workers will have had a much higher exposure that the pilots considered. The effect was seen by looking at hundreds or thousands of men. It was not immediately obvious. So the effect on the pilots is most probably insignificant. If a similar effect is found in the pilots it will almost certainly have another cause.

Pilots are exposed to far more radiation at the altitude at which they travel.

A difference in requirements for Y-20 and C-17 is that the Abrams M1A2 tank is substantially heavier than the heaviest Chinese tank, ZTZ99.

Weight wise, y20 with its 66 ton carrying capacity could lift something weighing as much as m1m2, at 62 tons

Is that including the time they are exposed to that radiation?

No. What I meant to say was that since the atmosphere is much thinner at the altitude at which they operate, they are exposed to more cosmic radiation.

So that's flying at that height a third(?) of the 300(?) hours they fly per year against the radar/electronics technicians five to fifty times as long per year in a lower but still high radiation environment.

Does China still imports Bow mounted Sonar TAS & VDS for its destroyers and Frigate from Ukraine and if so Then why China is unable to make them on its own.

A supposedly retd paf officer and member on defence.pk forum has claimed that

" JF17 structural parts(specially load bearing members and main beams inside the wings) are made of a special lightweight alloy steel. This steel is neither forged in China, not are they able to machine it in 3 or 5 axis machines. Most of these parts are outsources to specialised subcontractors in Europe, that make similar parts for the big fighter aircraft manufacturers '.
