Would've been so much nicer if they at least had the LERX's right....
Seems like they just painted the black model silver and put a different cockpit canopy on it.

Seems like they just painted the black model silver and put a different cockpit canopy on it.
I thought that at first too, but the vertical stabs are properly clipped, there's the reinforcing bar in the canopy, and a few other things they got right, which is why missing a big detail like the straightened LERXs was slightly disappointing. They will probably just correct the details in later reissues of the model.

OK, I'm turning blue, I'm holding my breath until I see 2102, "oh where, oh where can she be??" to the tune of "where has the little dog gone"?? I really am turning blue, I'm serious now, wheres my O2 tank, just in case?
