Yep so true.. In my day you saw females on shore in squadrons. But most were AZs and AKs.. just a few mechs, tweets etc. In Paralofts we always had a few females. But aboard aircraft carriers and other combatants..that number would be zero.

I never served with a female sailor at sea.
