Thanks, good to know.

In that case, it is certainly possible that Pakistan might have field tested Beidou guided PGMs in its counter-insergency operations.

However, without a dedicated targeting pod, they would not have been able to record the stock PGM strike videos the world now associate, and expect from such sorties.

Add to that possible desires to maintain operational security and not tell India the full extent of their capabilities, and it's quite understandable why they might not have added that information on the sales brochures of the JF17 yet. Especially given that Beidou is not yet globally operational, so most customers probably could not use this capability in the short term anyways, thus its inclusion would not be a great incentive.

2 JF-17s and 2 Super Mushaks have already reached there on goodwill visit. Confirmed by Alan Warnes:

Sorry, but if Qatar is looking for a "Lo in Hi-Lo mix with Rafale", then they would buy the Gripen ...

Deino, I am only reporting what has come from semi-reliable sources. It make sense too, since very few countries can afford to go for both Rafale and Gripen. With current Oil prices, I am not sure Qatar would likely go for such a recipe. And yet the near-to-mid term future compels GCC countries to raise spending and go for numbers in conjunction with quality - hence Hi-Lo mix with JF-17 as a possible candidate.

So what happened at the Dubai and Bahrain Airshows? The billed and highly anticipated JF-17's failed to show! Maybe there's a good excuse why they didn't "always show"??
Dear Mods, I think this requires your attention.
