Interesting.

If they got close enough thet the Russians had to fire warning shots...then they were perilously close to being destroyed.

My guess is if they had ignored warning shots and they were within 600m, then soon thereafter they would have been targeted.

Good thing they turned away.

  1. I still haven't seen any Turkish report, not even an identification of the vessel

    (Russians only said something like "a fishing boat" as far as I know)
  2. I'm curious which gun was used on the Smetlivy
(it's been almost two months so I think my points will never be officially addressed :)
