But is it not more likely that fuel is saved and experience gained and that the ship will use a large number of medium speed diesel engines in a IEP configuration?

Heavy rain in Guangdong delayed the launch. Here is Type 901, launched in late evening today.
Edit: Oops! Not yet launch, still at the dock yard. It was scheduled to be launched this afternoon. Weather permit, may be will be launched tomorrow.
