Check this giant out

6 stations and 3 hanger doors

This is going to be the largest PLAN ship to be launched until the carrier

Imagine this thing sailing along with Type 055 or 001

Just gotta say that isn't official... I doubt the real thing will be like that, and won't be quite as big either.

From observation made by the photographer Qsdet, he said the bow section of 901 looked like type 071 LDP, while the stern section looked like the latest Taiwan replenishment ship.

Big Cat's words are that there are 3 or more "transfer stations". And the launch date is around mid-December.

I wonder what he means by having a stern similar to the ROCN's new replenishment ship...
There's nothing too distinctive about the ship class' stern compared to the stern of other replenishment ships, to be honest.
A mid-December launch date would definitely be far sooner than previous predictions, which put it at early to mid 2016. I wonder how quickly GSI will be able to pump these out. It would be great if they could end up producing a relatively large number of these ships within a few years... with 4 903/As in service and another 4 903As to enter service in the next couple of years, it would be nice to have another 3 or 4 large 40k ton class 901s to provide a true medium to large size fleet of medium and large AOR/E ships going into the 2020s.
8 medium size 903/As and 3-4 large 901s along with the single large 885 replenshment ship would provide a very robust replenishment fleet for foreseeable Chinese Navy missions in both blue water and regional waters.

This is Qsdet's exact words -

I missed the essential parts - he was referring to the slanted angle stealth side walls of the hangar and the smoke stacks.

There are talks about 2 specs, one is high speed, another is large. Tonnage are 38K-45K, 48K->50K. This one in Nansha (shipyard) is confirmed 901, hull form (designed) for high speed, much larger than 903 and 904.
(what he implied is that there are 2 new class of replenishment ships - one is high speed 45,000 tonnes,, another is 50,000 tonnes)

The length beam ratio is larger (meaning slimmer), sharp tapering bow, midships wide.

Regarding smoke stack, there are 4 smoke ducts

Twin screws and twin rudders.
