dude, all the games will be broadcasted live in the US on ESPN2 and a few games on ABC.......most games are during work hours (kickoffs at 9am and 2:30pm) so get ur DVRs set..

yeah,, Lahm had a heck of a goal, Klose just happened to be in the right place at both goal. Frings freakin cannoned the ball for the 4th german goal.

I'm so pissed that I missed Germany v. Costa Rica!!!!!!! My dad told how well Germany played. Did Ballack play or not?

ballack did not play, and yes, Germany looked great. By the way, over here they are saying the costa rican goals were legit.

really, I have no idea what they were looking at. Especially the second goal, that was blatantly offside.

yes, i missed the Germany vs. Costa Rico game as well, i was in school. anyone know a video on the internet? i want to see the 2 so-called magnificant goals of Germany.

I have a feeling that Germany is gonna win the WC this year. they've been in the finals in previous WC and have won a WC (i think it was 1994?), and if it comes down to germany vs. brazil, i think germany is going to win because it's a home game for them.

also, anyone know if EA is making a fifa world cup 2006 game? similar to the one in 2002? i loved that game. so far there's only the regular fifa 2006 and road to world cup, which is only the preliminary rounds.

The England v. Paraguay match sucked. The only good performers for the English were Lampard, the defense, and the two Coles (Ashley Cole is a defender though). Crouch was non-existent, and Beckham just stood around. That Sweden v. Trinidad and Tobago game was amazing, did anyone catch it?

Yes Trinidad and Tobago played great, especially since they had one player less from 46th minute of the game.
Also Cote d'Ivoire played great against Argentina.

Yeah, although the Argentinians should have 3 goals, since the one off the head of Saviola was not counted, but it did cross the goal. Thanks a lot, linesman. The England - Paraguay game was a disappointment. There was no exciting moments other than a couple of Frank Lampard shots. I'm still waiting for Wayne Rooney to make his entrance.

Iran's losing 3-1, and by the time it ends it will still be 3-1, possibly 3-2. Holland was a bit dissapointing but then again, S&M is very good on the defensive side.

Here is the run down on the fitness of the english team during their first game:

Strikers
Owen: yet to be 100% Crouch: Suffered cramps in the 2nd half.
Sub: Theo Walcott: Very unlikely to see any minutes this world cup,
Rooney set to return as a sub in the quaterfinals,.....english fans are kicking themselves for taking Walcott and not a more usable striker.

Mid: Gerrad, Lampard, Joe Cole are 100%....Beckham is wonderful on set pieces and useless in every other situation.
