Interesting ... but two things to note:

1. If You look closely to this image, then it is clearly photoshopped - at least the background & the sky - is altered and as such it could also be a psed 114 out of the well known 104 ... however in comparison to 104 I think it is indeed a legit image, since the distance between the 1 and the 4 is a bit wider on 104 than on 114.
J-15 104 vs. maybe 114.jpg

2. we already had a hint of a '114' ... but that could have been '111' also.

J-15 serial 113 + maybe 114 or 111 + prototype 554.jpg

Seeing as the second batch is likely in the middle of production right now, there probably are not too many extra J-15s we don't know about... single digits, most likely.

Agreed ... given that we have confirmation of all aircraft from 100 to 113 (+ maybe 114) there are at least none missing in-between ... and for the 11x-series I expect no more than very few missing.

Hmm...those two are clearly two different pictures at different angles. Notice the vertical stabilizer orientation. As to those two pictures of the ones flying, IMHO, they are two different pics and one is not a PS of the other.

But they could also be two pictures at different times of the same aircraft with one of them PSd. Hard to say. If we could see and read the serial numbers...that would tell the tale..

Yes for sure; I only wanted it to compare with 104.

My feeling tells me '114' is - even if a bit "modified" - a true image ... especially since it is a new image (at least not of 104) we knew so far, since most ps-images are based on well known older ones.

The one next to 113 should be 109, according to this video.

I think Deino's suggestion in post 1013 is reflective.
So:
batch 1 features ten aircraft from No. 100 to No. 109
batch 2 is from No. 110 onwards... so No. 114 would be the fifth of the second batch

So ten aircraft in batch 1, and at least five for the second batch so far...

Seeing as the second batch is likely in the middle of production right now, there probably are not too many extra J-15s we don't know about... single digits, most likely.
What is the normal size of a Flanker batch? The first batch is small, no more than necessary to get enough information to improve the next batch. Would this next batch has a normal Flanker batch size? Will all J-15 batches be smaller than the normal size? Huitong, any ideas?
