Three US nuclear aircraft carriers in San Diego:

US Navy said:
SAN DIEGO (Aug. 15, 2015) The aircraft carriers USS George Washington (CVN 73), USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), and USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) sit across from the USS Midway Museum in San Diego Bay.

Just think, the US Navy could have those three babies sitting there in San Diego...and have three more just like them sitting in two other places in the world, and then have another left over for change.

Carrier USS Eisenhower Leaves Norfolk Shipyard After Two Year of Repairs

Nuclear carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN-69) left Norfolk Naval Shipyard after a much longer than planned maintenance availability that began almost two years ago, the ship yard announced on Friday.
The dry dock maintenance availability — originally planned for 14 months — began in 2013 and was extended following the discovery of additional repair needs once the carrier arrived.
“We experienced the majority of our growth work in the propulsion plant,” said project superintendent Brian Bennett in the statement.
“Our [multi-ship/multi-option (MSMO)] contracting partner had major growth work in the area of underwater hull, freeboard area and ventilation plenums [which are structured compartments where replenishment air enters and exits the ship].”
The unexpected work extension caused the Navy to reshuffle its carrier deployment schedule and swapped the order of planned deployments of Eisenhower with USS Harry S. Truman (CVN-75).
Truman will leave later this year to replace USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71)

Eisenhower will in turn head out in 2016 and be the first carrier to deploy under U.S.

that would extend carrier strike group (CSG) cycles from 32 to 36 months centered on an eight-month CSG deployment.
The carrier will now undergo a series of sea trials to prove the repairs before Eisenhower and its crew begins workups for the deployment next year.
“Coming out of this availability, as the second oldest carrier in the fleet, we have many lessons learned to pass on to the rest of the Nimitz-class carriers,” Bennett said.

I count 48 aircraft spotted on deck. They are from Carrier Air wing 14 (CAW-14) which is embarked on the Ronald Reagan. CAW-14 is made up of:

VFA-154 (Strike Fighter Squadron) Blacknights flying F/A-18F Superhornets
VFA-147 (Strike Fighter Squadron) Argonaughts flying F/A-18E Superhornets
VFA-146 (Strike Fighter Squadron) Blue Diamons flying F/A-18C Hornets
VFMA-323 (Marine Fighter Attack Squadron) Blacknights flying F/A-18C(N) Hornets
VAW-113 (Airborne Early warning Squadron) Black Eagles flying E-2C Hawkeyes
VAQ-139 (Electronic Warfare Squadron) Cougars flying EA-16G Growlrs
HS-4 (Anti Submarine Squadron) Blacknights flying F/A-18F Superhornets
VRC-30 (Logistics Support Squadron) Providers flying C-2 Greyhounds

And sure enough, ond deck there I see:

E-2C Hawkeyes
F/A-18E Super Hornets
F/A-18F Super Hornets
EA-18G Growlers

The USS Ronald Reagan, as she came into harbor in Japan, makes clear what her forward deployed self-defense weapon system configuration is:

Bow Port Quarter RAM Launcher

So:

Yes...the ones I indicated above are just ready to fire missiles.

Each ESSM has eight with 16 reloads, or 24 each. The RAMS have 21 eavh (with no reloads I believe...but am not sure on that). The total Defensive missile count available is

21 x 2
24 x 2

...or 90 total defensive missiles on the ship (maybe more of there are reloads for the RAMs).
