PRC/PLA 2015 Victory Parade Thread

The parade starts at 0900 hour Beijing time tomorrow. CCTV will beam live including some international channels.

Foreign veterans of Sino-Japanese War arrive in Beijing for the parade. Including veterans from Flying Tigers, Red Army and Japanese 8th Route Army member.

The other side to this point is for Chinese people to remember what can happen to them when their military is weak. I think it would be an extreme shame if China does not shine as much of a spotlight on the hard and bitter parts of the lesson, including China's own historical failures, as showcasing its subsequent efforts and success at learning and growing from it.

On this note does anyone know the full itinerary of commemoration activities beside from the parade? Or where to access such a schedule if it exists?

My mandarin isn't very good so I didn't know what they were saying. Programing before a parade, sporting event or fireworks is a pre show to me.

I should have also mentioned I'm watching the over the air broadcast.

I'm in China so I've watching CCTV1 on tv live with the preamble. Spectators with the pass were streaming in at 5am with the subway running at special early times.

I think the CCTV1 is a better watch than their live Youtube streaming.
