Okay to clarify this Z10 is the current PLA Antitank attack helicopter equivalent in role to the AH64 or AH1 (for the record the USMC just never bought or liked AH64 and kept rebuilding Cobras as there attack chopper) or Mi28 Havoc.

Z19 is the scout equivalent to the OH58 or Japanese OH1 ninja or the role that was intended for the RAH66 or the Russian KA52K (although Hakum would rip it to shreads) Sikorsky's Raider would also sit in this role if procured.

Oddly both Z10 and Z19s roles are equivalent to variants of the Tiger helicopter but that is mostly because of a dispute among Germany France and Australia.

Z9W seems to also still fill the role in some units but can also carry a small number of troops making it closer to the O/MH6 little bird or its eurocopter/Airbus kissing cousin the Dolphin or the British Lynx. Or Again Sikorsky's Raider or even UH72

There its over. Move on with your lives now.

Z10 Attack
Z19 Scout
Z9 light utility/ scout

Note that the Z-19 carried 4xKD-9 ATGMs and 4xTY-90 AAMs. In addition to 14x90mm rockets (that can also be semi-active laser guided, seeing the recent Zhuhai-offerings)

Interesting loadout, fitting for AA, AT and soft-targets.

Z-19 with this loadout would be the ideal armed escort for a helicopter-assault group, protecting them from all sorts of threats, or as stand-alone reconaissance, when equipped with that Long-Bow radar and capable of engaging opportunity targets, be it tanks or enemy helicopters/UAVs.

What happen to Z-10 and Z-19 underpower talk? :p
We now see Z-10 and Z-19 carrying 8 missiles PLUS rocket pods. I believe this is the maximum carrying capacity for both types of attack helicopters based on current engines. However, I think when we start seeing Z-19 and Z-10s carrying 16 missiles, I can guess there's a new type of engines in commission.

Interesting, do you happen to have a link to a photo or article in regarding to the semi-active laser guided 90mm rockets. I have been finding info on Chinese equivalent of the laser guided 70mm hydras
