The Aizhai Bridge is a suspension bridge on the G65 Baotou–Maoming Expressway near Jishou, Hunan, China. The bridge was built as part of an expressway from southwest China's Chongqing Municipality to Changsha.
As the world's highest and longest tunnel-to-tunnel bridge, the Aizhai suspension bridge links two tunnels 1,176 meters apart, carrying traffic 330 meters above the foot of Dehang Canyon.
Construction of the bridge started in October 2007 and its main sections were completed at the end of last year. The bridge was temporarily opened to pedestrians during the 2012 Spring Festival and was formally opened to traffic in March 2012.
It is also the sixth-highest bridge in the world and the world's twelfth-longest suspension bridge.
Of the world's 400 or so highest bridges, none has a main span as long as Aizhai.

People from the Yi ethnic group sing and dance to celebrate the Torch Festival in Puge county, Southwest China’s Sichuan province, Aug 5, 2015. The festival, which usually falls on June 24 in the lunar calendar, is the biggest festival of the Yi people. During the festival, they will hold wrestling and bullfighting events in the village. The focus of the torch festival is at night. People either light torches to pray for a good harvest or light bonfires and host parties with singing and dancing. The Torch Festival in Puge county is known for being mysterious and primitive, attracting nearly 100,000 residents to the celebration this year. (Photo: China News Service/Liu Zhongjun)

April 3, 2015. Liming New Village of Luyang Town in Lushan County, Sichuan Province. A 7.0-magnitude earthquake hit Lushan County on April 20, 2014, leaving over 500 rural buildings damaged. In the past year, the cottages and infrastructure in the village were rebuilt.

This is one pretty looking village.
