PLAAF Breaking News (including articles with Pictures or videos)

Just a short reply from vacation ... @ Jeff;

Please don?t be to harsh with posting pictures in such a tread since often the image stands / speaks alone for itself ... often no comment is required but added into the corrdct treads they make up a nice collection of images to a certain topic. otherwise it is a bit hard to sort out what image fits to what topic or it gets lost after a few pages ... esp. if You are in holydays like me right now.

If you want the picture threads to be collections of pictures they should be arranged as in the corresponding discussion threads. I thought of looking just at the Zubr pictures among the PLAN pictures and gave up after five minutes.

Delft...I have not said you should not post pics...just give some comments about them at the least. Even short comments will suffice.

@Deino: We are just getting, in some threads, far too many pics and they are drowning out the discussions. I believe if folks will simply give some comments and notation it would be fine.

I do know that particular threads and new equipment, like the J-20 when we are looking for 2016, necessarily are going to have quite a few pictures, and that is fine. But even a short description would be nice.

I know you did Jeff. I agree with you. It is just that when I wanted to look at many pictures of in this case Zubr I have to look at many picture mostly non-Zubr or a lot of Zubr discussions with some pictures. And of course I want some short comments with the pictures.

A New Radar For China

That is so huge. Is it confirmed it is not just a building structure in the shape of a radar.

That thing is a building. The radar element arrays are arranged on the slant face and it's innards are stored inside the building.

Is it possible the building just a simulation target since Taiwan got a set of the Pave Paw?

hyper-kinetic matter discombobulator, they are trying to get a radar fix on Jeff Head as he flies the mach 8 Aurora overhead??? how do you think he gets all these great pictures? he's just telling you he's on vacation. he meant to say I'm on "vocation"??
