A hidden camera allowed a photographer to get up close and personal with a herd of zebras as they crossed the Mara River in Kenya. The impressive close-up was only possible because wildlife photographer Manoj Shah hid his camera and controlled it from about 50m away using a remote control.

Two cranes on a barge, moving a section of a bridge across a canal, collapsed onto houses in the Dutch town of Alphen aan den Rijn.

The bridge section began swaying and hitting the cranes, causing one of the cranes to list, and then collapse with the bridge onto houses, which then caused the second crane to collapse with them.

At least 20 people were injured in the incident, including several with serious injuries.

A second video shows the destruction after the collapse.

A picture of the destruction.

Video of the pic Mirage posted above. Gotta be one of the best videos of this kind of thing ever.

A guy outfits his moto-cross with water folis and a special back tire...and then moto-crosses the waves in Tahiti.

Watch it, it is not faked.

A while ago (before my cancer), my son Jared and myself took a wilderness drive on the Magruder Corridor Trail between Idaho and Montana. It's one of the most remote, and most beautiful drives you can take.

I decided to document it in pictures on Flickr and wanted to share the album. It is absolutely one of the greatest wilderness drives you can take in the lower 48. But beware. Only go after mid-July, and before October...and be sure to have 10 ply tires and two spare tires...just in case.

You need a very reliable SUV and a lot of necessary supplies to take this trip. In the album, I see you had a flat tire. How many spare tires have you got?
