A vendor dressed like the Pig Zhu Bajie, a character from the classic novel Journey to the West, sells watermelons on a street in Taiyuan city, North China’s Shanxi province. In the novel, Zhu Bajie was exiled from Heaven for misbehavior and was reborn as a pig-monster on Earth. The funny outfit has turned out to be an effective marketing stunt that has dramatically booted his sales.
