Very nice by78 a stunning shot love it !

Let's hope Pakistan can get these S20 variants and have submarine launched nuclear capable cruise missiles for second strike

8 is a very healthy number indeed
Hey Asif, do you think Pakistan buying 8 S20 submarines are a sign in the future that Pakistan are planning to build their own CVB?

The very last photo, is it normal for a submarine, let alone a test submarine, to be so close to civilian houses (they really seem to be private houses) ? i would say, you can almost jump from the window to the submarine.

Can anyone clear this issue?

I'm assuming you meant something like this? Those housing could be just dormitories for the workers and/or sailors (nearest building on the left).

I believe Pakistan will get all 8 S20 earlier than India's 6 Scorpene. India purchased 6 Scorpenes for total $3B in 2005 (yes, 10 years ago) but none has been delivered yet

Anybody knows how much the contract is for 8 S20?

It seems S20 is significantly larger than Scorpene (2,300 vs 1,500 tonnes)

well Thailand is paying 1.1 billion for 3. I would Pakistan would be paying less than that unless Pakistan is requesting for significant amount of upgrades.

Jane's reported that Pakistan pays for their 8 S20 less than $500 million each while India pays USD763 million per boat for six DCNS Scorpene SSK.

Lieutenant General Talat Masood (retd), who is now a commentator on defence affairs, told IHS Jane's it was "difficult to imagine a price of less than USD500 million per submarine, if not more". By comparison IHS Jane's DS Forecast notes that the Indian Navy is paying USD763 million per boat for six DCNS Scorpene SSKs.
