Just an FYI for posters.

We have three SD Poll threads in the Historical Forum we would like SD members to consider, and vote on:

https://www.sinodefenceforum.com/best-ground-force-general-of-ww-ii-sd-vote.t7795/

Who was the best Air Force General of World War II? (You get to make three choices)
https://www.sinodefenceforum.com/best-air-force-general-of-ww-ii-sd-vote.t7796/

Who was the best naval Admiral of World War II? (You get to make three choices)
https://www.sinodefenceforum.com/best-naval-admiral-of-ww-ii-sd-vote.t7797/

Please, take the time to consider these...read up on their accomplishments...and then vote in these threads.

Yesterday I applied for Social Security. It was very easy. I applied on line. The only question that was asked about military service was did I serve prior to 1968. Of course that answer was no... they did ask for my ex-wife's social security number.. which of course I know. It took about 20 minutes to fill out the request.

Soon I will be a double dipper!

Hehehe...three years from December my friend and I will join you in those ranks!

I dad had already applied and qualify for it this coming September.

My parents applied a few years back and they have been enjoying SS :);). With SS, their 401K's and retirement paycheck, they have been enjoying their retirement quite nicely.
