Okay then. This new Italian LHD will be:

Length: 200 m (650 ft.)
Speed: 25 knots
Compliment: 1000 (700 of which can be troops)

The current Italian San Giorgio LPDs are:

Length: 135 m (436 ft.)
Speed: 21 knots
Compliment: 530 (Of which 350 can be troops)

Since the current San Giorgio displace 7,650 tons, I expect this new vessel to displace something on the order of 14,000 or more tons.

We shall see.
