My wife and I went last Thursday to the OpenTechSummit in Berlin and found it interesting. Of course my wife is the geek at home even when I wear the beard.
One of the things presented was a way of synthesizing bacteriophages specifically to hit the bacteria infecting a specific patient. The system, complete with the technology to adequately analyse those bacteria, might be available in about ten years, perhaps just in time at the end of the usefulness of antibiotics.
I'm now picking up the threads on our forum I'm especially interested in.

Hi Buddies I'm back! Sorry for the long period of absence as I was busy applying for university and preparing my VISA matters! I was accepted by the University of Sydney and will be leaving for Australia in July. I hope to go for exchange program in the US and if possible I'll go visit some of you guys!
