A tourism official in central China came up with a novel way of entertaining visitors to Shiyan Lake, by creating a show featuring 'flying' pigs. The animals were herded onto a bridge above the lake in Changsha. Identified by red numbers painted on their sides, the pigs were then driven off the bridge by a man holding a stick, and splashed into the water below.

Unbelievable..^^ In the US some animal rights group or the ASPCA would try to put a stop to this...I've seen so many pictures of animal creuly in China. Where does it end?...and NO I do not believe animals have the same rights as humans. NO WAY>>NO HOW!... However I do feel they should be treated humanely.

Forcing the animals to do stunt is the wrong way. To land on the belly for a human is extremely painful. Since we do not know how painful it is for animals, we cannot force them to jump, but let them decide themselves from a low height. In this case, there was a public uproar of protest, so hopefully the authorities will put a stop to it in future.
