View attachment 13278No.J-10s of any type have been delivered to, or built for Pakistan.

.

Hi,

20 of them were offered to Pakistan from existing stock when the fire fight across the borders with India was about of get out of control last year. Pakistan reserved the right to take them any time they wanted to.

There is lot more to J 10B and Pakistan than it is visible.

Twenty J-10B's?? How many J-10B's does China have now in stock??? 40-50? And they offered half of that to Pakistan? Hard to believe...
Where did you get this info? Any source?

Again, I've said this many times. The J-10B is still China's most advanced fighter in active service. There is simply no way that China would offer its most advanced fighter to someone else. I understand that Pakistan and China enjoy a long and close friendship. However, China's first and foremost priority is still its own interests.

Agree. I can see China might send 20 of the original J-10 to a friend like Pakistan if things get really hot between India and Pakistan. But the possibility of sending J-10B is almost zero.

Forget that China don't have that many J-10B herself, even the Chinese pilots are probably still trying to get use to the few J-10B in operation now. How can the Pak pilots able to just use J-10B for any useful missions during war when they barely familiar with the J-10B. o_O

Actually, I would say that the J-15 (post-AESA-upgrades) and J-16 would be the PLA/NAF's most advanced fighters once they enter service, simply by virtue of being newer than the J-10B (hence having newer electronics) and by sporting a second-generation AESA radar rather than a 1.5-generation one.

I'm a little confused. If J-10B uses 1.5 gen AESA, and J-15/16 use gen 2 AESA, what uses gen 1 AESA? J-11B?

I don't see the logic behind your points. Why USA can offer its most advanced fighter (like F15) to Israel and his other allies? Why USSR and Russia can do the same to other countries? Why can't China?

Besides, IMO, JF-17/FC-1 and J-10B are the only two fighters that China can offer now respectively for low end and high end markets. Because J-7 and J-10A manufacture line have both been closed.

If Sukhoi/KnAAPO allows the re-use of the Flanker airframe design (albeit unlikely), the J-11B, J-15, and J-16 could theoretically become very attractive offers.

Hi,

20 of them were offered to Pakistan from existing stock when ... Pakistan reserved the right to take them any time they wanted to.
I must have missed that.

Please provide a link to any official PRC press release or announcement indicating that thyey made this offer.

I do not think you will find one.

Deino? Is there any truth to this?

I believe it is pure rumor...but I could be wrong too.

If so, please link to the source.
