They're not that far apart. The angle is slightly skewed but one can notice the difference in size.
I checked Google Earth again, and there are 12 launching tubes on top of the smaller boomer. Could it be the only type 092 in service with the PLAN? That boat is usually stationed in Qingdao, but it could temporarily ended up in Yalong Bay as a result of exercise? What do u think?

They are both 094s. 094s have 12 launch tubes. One of the 094s have left Sanya base since last GE update it looks like.

Pretty sure this is due to the angle of the photo.

don't know about the 093T claims, but these look to be recent photos based on GE updates.
Here are two more photo's of the Type 093G.

The type 091s could finally be replaced and decommissioned. Wondering if they will be upgraded and leased to Pakistan.
they only have 2 093s in service and even if all the 093Bs join service, they still only have 6 in service. That's not even sufficient to escort the 094s even if we factor in the remaining 091s. I don't see how 091s to Pakistan makes any sense. It's loud and expensive to maintain and China is unlikely to export strategic type of weapons.

It could always be use for basic submarine training purposes for the Pakistan navy.

Training only makes sense if you are training for something -- like India with its path to an indigenous nuclear submarine capability. Pakistan would be foolish to pursue such a capability in light of its far more limited resources.

Yeah but you still need a BASIC knowledge of how the sub works and command systems for the crew to get the basic understanding and training out of the way first before putting them onto the real more advance subs. Particularly the 8 submarines (don't know which one yet) that China is selling to Pakistan.

Agreed, but old nuclear boats would be a very expensive and inefficient way of achieving such proficiency. If Pakistan did have a temporary requirement for a couple old boats for training purposes, China has plenty of ageing SSKs more suitable for the task.
