any advantage/disadvantage of striker fired rifle vs hammer fired?

Stryker fired systems tend to have a lower angle of bore vs conventional hammer fired weapons. meaning that the weapon sits lower in the hand and can have a lower line otherwise They seem to be just as reliable some cheap strikers though have a habit of accidental discharge from impact.

I'm thinking maybe striker system allows for a smaller receiver in rifle. make sense?
