He just stated some facts from the US aggressive politics towards china. He did not disrespect anyone here nor did he insult anyone. The only people that feel this is an disrespect or insulting are those who do not like facts.
BS- you're wrong on facts and wrong on intent. There's no one on these forums that's more fair than Jeff Head, so stop the pot stirring.

Very aggressive and defensive you get over nothing. Nothing of that statement should get such a reaction, you should check on yourself before suggesting anything to others.

I refuse to take the Z-19 seriously untill it has a chin mounted gun.

I think the Z-19 firmly falls under the armed scout category rather than being a true attack helicopter. Actually wish the name of the thread reflected this as it is clear also from the fact that China is building the Z-10, a true attack helicopter, as a pairing to the Z-19.

not likely to happen the first issue is the Festron tail, That makes the Bird very tail heavy meaning it has a tendency to point nose up meaning that the turret would need a wider range of vertical movement next comes the weight issue that tail and the design are as is fairly heavy and the heavier the bird the more power she trades for maneuver and speed.
Finally If they turreted Z19 Why have Z10? the Mission of Z19 is armed scout her weapons are defensive only they can light up a target but only to knock the enemy off guard well they turn tail and run well broadcasting to allies where the enemy is.

Like others have said it's a scout/attack helicopter rather than a dedicated attack helicopter.

It's meant to be light, fast, with the ability to snipe targets of opportunity with missiles, while also equipped with the option to attack tanks at stand off with ATGMs. Lack of a gun (not to mention weaker armour relative to Z-10) means Z-19s aren't meant to survive closer encounters with opposing AFVs or troops -- which is fine, given that is the mission it was designed for.

compare it to Others in it's class and you see the same. the Kawasaki OH1 Ninja being the most Direct comparison in terms of configuration but the US OH58D or OH 6 ,the French Aérospatiale Gazelle the British Lynx AH. series, all these chopper lack full cannon, When they have guns they are often little more then conventional Machine guns or gun pods. The only birds that are intended to fit the same mission I can think of with a turret is the The Iranian HESA S285 with a turret mounted MG, and the Cancelled RAH66

You expressed the same point in post #233 back on Jan 11, 2014. I will reply to you with the same words as I did back then:

"Z-19 is unlikely to gain a gun in the future. It has a clearly defined role as an armed scout. Having a gun requires it to tussle within gun range, for which it's not armored to handle. Its Z-9 derived engines and gearbox likely can't take too much additional weight regardless.

Z-19 will scout (with its mast-mounted radar) and pass targeting information onto the bigger WZ-10. Z-19 will, however, make opportunistic attacks by lobbing missiles from a safe distance."
