Individual kills don't matter. Kill ratios matter. Wars are not decided by one on one performances, and by a large average stealth fighters are still going to perform better in and against electronic warfare than their non stealth counterparts..

and even "Kill ratios" are just a small part of the picture.... none of the superpower (USR, Russia, China) have gone against a peer o near-peer rival.... I for 1 take the F-15 perfect KR with a grain of salt...

Freaking crackdown on our wallclimbing fellows, i fell like im starving for news on the J-20 :(

the F22 itself doesn't kill other plane but the missile. Anytimes it has to shoot a missile, it's liable to be detected and the missile can be disrupted by countermeasure.
And that logic applies even more so to non-stealthy fighters who are perpetually more liable to detection, and will therefore go down 99 times where the F-22 may go down once. You're talking about one Growler scoring one kill against the F-22. Did you think about looking up how many Growlers were shot down by F-22s? War is about playing the odds.

So Deino is expecting the 7th flying prototype or LRIP aircraft very shortly??? and at some point we will likely enter batch production and the formation of a nucleus of J-20 fighter pilots,,,, any word or thoughts on simulator's, training squadron make-up??? location, compliment of aircraft??? stand up side by side trainer to compliment the J-20?

I was really hoping to watch this process of the induction of the J-20 in some minutiae as this is something that I am curious about/interested in?

Well my posts were about things that can be added to the aircraft. For example the aircraft could be powered up whit generators that are spinned by aircrafts engine. Thus the speed of generator could be very high. Same concept can be applied to a missile. But is whatever you want.

i would sugest you to read the rules

Even the aerodynamics discussion and the steath-iness of the canards (both closely related to J-20) had been move to another thread, so your "magnetic erpetual motion machine" (at best tangentially related) its wildy OffTopic

BTW - Many Aicrafts have electric generators coupled with their engines, they power up the avionics... /OT Off

going back to J 20. can some of the knoledgeable members guesstimate the total number of jets procured by PLA???

I would bet the number will be in 350 ballpark (and about 1k of some smaller/cheaper multirole 5th gen, like j-31 to make a Hi/Lo combo)
