I don't see any reason why they would not have implemented Japan naval standards in constructing JS Izumo. It's going to take time to sift through all the documents archived at the MoD to verify though.

I saw a 1/700 scale on display at the 53rd Japan hobby model trade show.

designation more politically correct and not to worry accountants of the public treasure... as Zumwalt by ex and Jeff have right you know a DDG with 9 helos ? my friend ;)

Ofc he is not and Zumwalt as LCS now redesignated FF, soon reclassified CG it is.

I remember seeing a photo of Osumi Class and Hyuga Class in Yokosuka together!? Anyone got that picture man those two looked bad and the second Izumo Class's isn't even in the water yet!!

A formidable flat deck fleet from JMSDF coming soon !
