That would be Kool, as to your China trying to frighten Japan parade, that's dumb, but hey, it sure couldn't hurt our F-35 sales! maybe even reignite an F-22 reawakening here, so hey, might be good fo da bidnez, LOL.
Prolly better stick to the J-20 news, if there is in fact a J-20(2016), that would be big news indeed, but it is entirely possible with the batch production seeming to have produced at least four new prototypes last year?
He saw that off Yahoo news. I'm sure they did their very best to make China sound like some middle school bully, frightening neighbors. The original Chinese article said something like, "the parade is to commemorate the soldiers who sacrificed themselves defending our nation in WWII and to show our continued resolution in safeguarding our interests." or something of the sort.

Hmm... I do hope that the Chinese show cast the J-20 and J-31 in the flyby in the large parade. It can be a good time to show off some of her hardware to potential customers.

Anyway, there really is nothing wrong with the parade, it is just as what Manqiangrexue had mentioned... and it has nothing to do with frightening the neighbours and if the neighbours are frightened, well... too bad.

Thanks for clarifying that, maybe we could send a couple of F-35s to commemorate the Flying Tigers and other Americans who fought for the Chinese Homeland alongside their Chinese Allies???

Maybe even a couple of P-40s to really commemorate the AVG!

That would really be cool. Flying the F-35 beside the J-20 and J-31. But don't be stingy... send your F-22 too... pretty please... :)

Brat, I always dreamed that if I ever met a Flying Tiger in need, I'd open up everything I have to help him out. Anyway, I don't think the Chinese would have any problem with some F-35s or Raptors visiting though I doubt the USAF would want to risk exposing them to all sorts of possible Chinese radar in the area.

Loved the Flying Tigers, and used to love the poor old P-40 till I saw a Mustang, well actually my first real love affair had to be the Spitfire, LOL! I did see a P-40 in polished aluminum with a longer nose, I think it was an E model, but I initially thought it was a Stang, turns out it was a replica of the Base Commanders Bird at Chanute AFB, right here in Central Obamastan??
As to the J-20, I hope they do fly it before the New Year, since I've joined SDF, waiting on the J-20, Liaoning, and J-15 have caused me to visibly age and my hair to fall out??

seems that I've messed up the quotation marks, can somebody fix this please?

Ha, finanlly get back onboard here! Regarding the parade, we are not sure which state heads will be invited. But it seems that Putin will be here, and Russian soldiers will join the parade. People are talking about inviting the two Koreans and Americans (Yeah, the Flying Tigers). The Koreans probably will have no problem participating, I'm not sure about the Americans, as this is so much about the Anti-Japanese War. I do hope they will participate, even with J-35's (I wouldn't be so greedy as to expect any F-22's) and any other advanced weapens... and the Russians with a handeful of T-50's... We badly need to see the full house of available 5th Gen. fighters together!
