Pakistani AlKhalid uses Ukranian Gun !!!

So Ukraine that gained independence back in 1991....what particular guns it has developted after that???? It's been discussed earlyer, there is no Ukrainian tankguns, only soviet tankguns manufactured in Ukraina...remember, ukraina was part of the family of nations...

the gun used its the same as the one on the 85M and the pla's t-96 so there its nothing Ukrainian about it

125 mm KBA3 tank gun is installed in main battle tanks Oplot and T-80UD.

It is successfully used when modernizing armoured vehicles, for example, tanks T-62.

It serves to:

to defeat tanks and other armoured vehicles of the enemy;
to suppress and destroy fire support means and personnel of the enemy.
KBA3 gun can fire separate-loading ammunition, including:

guided missiles (GM)
armour-piercing discarding sabot fin-stabilized projectile (APDSFS)
high-explosive antitank projectile (HEAT)
high explosive-fragmentation projectile (HE-FRAG)
air-bust fragmentation-shrapnel projectile (ABFS)

Actually Ukraine used Russian guns , but Russia pulled out all arms supply when Ukraine marketed T80 to Pakistan. The gun on Ukrainian T80 and T84 is newer design , ofcourse a copy of the russian one !!!


I cannot confirm it now , but somewhere I read that Ukrainian guns had better performance in desert than Chinese guns , so Pakistan is planning/replacing to use them in AK.

how does desert effect the perfomance of tank gun !!!!

the gun on the AK is the same as that on PLA's T-96 a mix bewten the russian 2a46m and the chinese 120
