They are now expanding to the Indian Ocean

Also the satellites in use are mainly civilian satellites not military satellites the US military satellites are concentrated much North than this keeping a close eye on North Korea not the South China Sea

I read local news this morning that they there is possibility that the pilots did a suicidal crash. If the plane did fly to Indian ocean, it is clear that someone (maybe the pilots themselves) hijacked the plane.

Pilots? Two pilots conspired to commit suicide and take over 200 people with them? I know everything about MH370 has been strange, but that local news station needs a better conspiracy theory.

Well believe it or not it's happened before. Federal Express Flight 705 a FEDEX flight Engineer named Auburn Calloway was deadheading ( Flying aboard for free ) he boarded the flight with a Guitar case loaded with a spear gun and a number of hammers. during the flight he tried to kill the flight recorder and attacked the three man flight crew. despite sustaining some bad injuries the three man flight crew over powered Auburn and retained control of the DC10 during the brawl the aircraft's pilot engaged in a series of extreme maneuvers in order to allow the others engaged in the fight to gain the upper hand.

The copilot of EgyptAir 990 initiated his suicide in 1999 by diving his Boeing 767, with 217 passengers aboard, into the Atlantic off the coast of Nantucket while the captain of the flight was going to the bathroom. The cockpit voice recording showed the captain was able to rush back to the cockpit in time before the plane hit the water, but was so confused and bewildered about the copilot's intention that he was unable to prevent the copilot from successfully fighting the captain's belated corrective control inputs. All 217 died.

Newest info from CNN claimed that the Malay admitted signals from te plane pinged on for hours as it headed into Indian Ocean. Let's see where things are going now..
And this also made sense to why all we had been digging up was garbage in te SE Asian waters

Although it's doubtful to get the Entire flight crew to join a Suicide pact. all it would take is One member in the right position. In my Example FedEx 705 Calloway was shedueled to fly as Flight engineer along with a different Captain and Copilot, but because the Previous day the flight crew he was normally part of had over flown there FFA regulated hours he and that crew were barred form flight as such he was not in the position he had likely counted on to take control, that of Flight Engineer. And instead of having a open attack to two men he had to take on three men.

The problem with comparing MH370 with flight 217 is MH370 apparently flew for about 5 hours after transponders and communication went dark. If it was either the pilot or the co-pilot acting alone, then the crew would have had 5 hours to break into the cockpit and subdue the lunatic.

I suspect history will not be kind to the Malay government, when it's all said and done.

Today (Mar 14, 2014) is the 7th day since the plane vanished. IF all 239 died on last Saturday, it's the 7th day today. It's a very important ceremony of the 7th day in Chinese culture but how do people carry out the ceremony if they can't be sure if their relatives are dead or still alive?

US zeroes in on Indian Ocean to find missing MH370

by p. aruna

PETALING JAYA: A new search area in the Indian Ocean has raised hopes of finding the missing MH370 with the Pentagon confirming that new evidence has emerged.

A Pentagon official told The Star that the US was opening a new area of investigation following indications that the Boeing 777-200ER could have gone down there.

When contacted at 2am on Friday, the official said he had no knowledge of whether missile destroyer USS Kidd was heading there for search operations.

“The White House press secretary has just said that we may open a search in the Indian Ocean,” he said.

He said this when asked to confirm a report by ABC News, which reported that US officials had an “indication” that the missing Malaysia Airlines plane may have crashed in the Indian Ocean and was moving the USS Kidd to the area to begin searching.

The report quoted a senior Pentagon official as saying that it will take another 24 hours to move the ship into position.

Reuters reported that White House spokesman Jay Carney said they had new information on the whereabouts of the plane.

“It’s my understanding that based on some new information that’s not necessarily conclusive - but new information - an additional search area may be opened in the Indian Ocean.

“And we are consulting with international partners about the appropriate assets to deploy.” he said.

In the transcript of the White House’s latest press briefing on its website, Carney said it was still too early to draw any conclusions from the ongoing investigations on the missing plane.

“Conclusions cannot be drawn at this time, in our view, and we continue to participate actively in the search as well as assist the Malaysian government in the investigation.

“I can remind you if you need to know of the assets that we’ve sent to the region, including aircraft and helicopters and two destroyers that are a part of the effort of the search underway.

“But when it comes to conclusions from that investigation, it’s too early to draw any, in our view,” he said.
