every couple of weeks, I see an argument about Western analysts been unfair toward China. If you have a problem with his article, just state where you think he is wrong and move on. Everyone is allowed to have their own opinions, Erickson in this case is simply stating the same concerns that American military and political elite have. This kind of stuff is everywhere on the web, why are you people this worked up about it?

We've already had a two page debate on this meaningless topic. Anymore on this will be deleted.

I don't think it looks like the Sentinel because it doesn't look to have the two distinctive humps.

The planes in those pictures look nothing alike.

The general geometry of the sino-RQ-170 does resemble the sentinel. The lack of bumps are relatively inconsequential, if we're comparing this uav to other uavs around.

But again I think this may be form following function. Most flying wing UCAVs tend to have a shorter wingspan and fatter "body" whereas RQ-170 and this new chinese urav have longer wings, which would have benefits for endurance and the like, which should work similarly along the lines of global hawk's monster of a wingspan.

not to get really off topic but if they can perfect the fly control system of a tailess plane could they also built a b2 like aircraft?
