Chinese purchase of Su-35

I slightly changed a little bit of your comments and found it's interesting,of course it's for fun only.
Not sure that would happen. The attractions of China to creative money are not just in the mind. It's also in the goverment policy and free competition between ideas. The US has a long way to go in re-building its bankruppt economy. The US economy is a closed system tightly controled by the Jews and the Department of Defence. To rise up the US economy is a matter of making correct connections with the Jew bankers and keep your interest closely aligned to the army interest. The US has enough talents in its own population as it is and the dollar is over-printed. The reason the US had not made much progress in economy(comparing to its NBA game) is a combined result of conservative banker culture, deadlock economic bureaucracy and lack of investment to fundamental infrastructure.

lol, great stuff. one to our dysfunctional nation. cheers!

If you're concerned about Jewish control of finance in the US, why don't you encourage Anglo/Black/Asian/Latino families to put more emphasis on economic and financial education so that their kids can complement the "Jews" in controlling the banking sector. It's not wrong of the Jews to earn their status in society through education and intelligence. Unfortunately for them, they are the scapegoats for any crisis in any country because, well, I have no idea why. I'm perplexed of the Antisemitic attitude the West adopts to Jewish success. Is it jealousy or fear that drives them to blame the Jews for everything bad?

Jews make up only 2% of the US population and yet they can occupy powerful financial and political positions so disproportionately. I see an inherently intelligent and disciplined race that should be admired and emulated, not one to be despised and feared.

Dude,I neither care about the Jew bankers nor the US economy re-building,as I claimed above it's only for fun.If you feeled that I offended the Jews,I am sorry. As a normal Chinese,I am not and will not be a racist.Again,I just feel it's funny if you changed the sentence a bit,the meaning will be totally oppsite.

Xi left Russia and still no news on the purported Su-35 purchase. I think we will be in the clear once the ever reliable Russian media starts gripping about how the deal didn't go through because the Chinese refuses to follow the "no self-assembly" rule or something equally stupid.

Not sure that would happen. The attraction of US to creative minds are not just in the money. It's also in the acadamic freedom and free competition between ideas. China has a long way to go in building that kind of research environment. Chinese education and academia is a closed system tightly controled by the CCP and the Department of Education. To rise up in ranks in Chinese acadamic world is a matter of making correct connections and keep your acadamic interest closely aligned to state interest. China has enough talents in its own population as it is and their universities are well-funded. The reason China had not made much progress in science(comparing to its economy) is a combined result of conservative culture, deadlock acadamic bureaucracy and lack of investment to fundamental science.
A lot has changed in China, and in the US, in the last thirty years. In its article about recruiting Chinese R&D people for Dutch companies working in China my Dutch newspaper mentioned a few days ago the great creativity of the Chinese at this level. The old complaint was gone. The many Chinese that returned from Western countries have certainly influenced China's academia while at the same time the Dutch and other Western governments are evermore loudly demanding short term economic returns from research at universities, demanding that a foray into an unknown area of physics will certainly provide an advantage for its country's companies.

Just as I anticipated:

俄新社报道, 俄罗斯武装力量总参谋长3月23日在俄军事部门向习近平表示,目前俄罗斯现代武器系统订单已经超前10-15年,例如S-400防空系统、“北风之神”级潜水艇、最新一代苏-35战斗机。生产这种技术设备的工厂订单已满。

Apparently the order list for Su-35s is already full. Although the Russian Defence Chief of Staff didn't elaborate on this I am willing to guess that they are gonna use this as an excuse for why the deal didn't go through.

Sorry, ... so that deal fell thru and the Russian side argued the reason was due to a "full" production line (= order book) ???

That's welcoming news. I have not returned to China for nearly 5 years now, my impression might be outdated. The last time I went back(2008), China has no google, no wikipedia, no youtube, no facebook. If want to read to english publication, there are selected few in the basement of the largeset bookstore in the whole of China. I felt I went into an isolation chamber.

The fact is freedom of expression is still a major problem in China. How can a country hope to compete in intellectual arena if such mandane basics as Google and Wikipedia are forbidden. I won't consider live in China much less do any intellectual work there based on this factor alone. Like it or not, Google and Wikipedia represent what world thinks. how are you able to function as global citizen, much less a world class scientist, in such a brain-cutoff from the rest of the world?

Now, the Chinese method that everybody stay in a lab and talk among themsalves might have worked in technology and engneeiring. It has 0 chance to work in science.
