Re: Chinese Daily Photos, Videos & News of 2013!!!

Those Chinese firecrackers lights up too fast. As a kid I remember during the New Year in Chinatown, me and my cousin would go look for the leftover firecrackers that didn't get light up on the ground. When we found one, we light it up and drop it as fast as we can. I was the one light it, while my cousin get's the dubious honor of holding and releasing it.:p i mean litterally you do have like a second to release it after the firecracker is lit. They're not like the Black Cats here in America where the fuse is longer.

Re: Chinese Daily Photos, Videos & News of 2013!!!

Those long firecrakers that hang from a pole have very fast fuses! I remember as a kid I used to play with firecrakers that have much slower fuses, probably made that way for safety purposes. It's about half the size of those mentioned earlier with less explosive power and have beautiful colour patterns. They just don't sell those anymore over here since a long time back.
