EDIT: ok I've got around to fix the darn thing...but just a small observation: think the PLA ain't really keen with the digital pattern with their vehicles, more like for show on the most part. Probably manufacturing plant's initiative or something?

older gen. of SPAAA has no anti PGM capability,making them highly vulnerable to new gen. PGM specially sniper laser designator, which could attack the SPAAA outside the range of SR-SAM and SPAAA.
good example was iraq invasion and afghan war. USAF aircraft equip with sniper were able to destroyed iraqi mobil SPAAA and aghan ZSU-4-23.
the russian SPAAA such as pantzir-S carry phase array PESA ranther than reflector antenna allow it to intercept high speed PGM.

the new 35mm self propelled AAA is considerably more capable (electronically at least) compared with the Gepards of the 70's

I wouldn't say this vehicle is any number of years too late since I don't believe the role of AAA is outdated.

Yes, dear, it's exactly like the Gepard except it has a chasis with a more rational weight class, better search radar at least a generation ahead, two sets of wire to the muzzle (so possibility of muzzle velocity sensor AND AHEAD exists), and various EO devices. It also appears to be integrated with a radar/ command vehicle. Oh, it's also about 20 tonnes lighter, which I am sure is entirely trivial.

Otherwise exactly like the Gepard! :coffee:

I am pretty sure this can take out PGM. It seems to have a Active or more likely passive array installed on top.
