article come Osprey Publishing.new vanguard series "T-80 tanks:the last armour champion"" by steven Zaloga and Concord book "T-80" by S. zaloga.
test conducted in Kubinka, 1982,using israel M-48A5 capture by the syrian,Israel M-111 round able penetrate T-80 glacis plate at standard battle range.,this test shock the soviet army.

That must have been quite the Oh Crap moment. Is that why most if not all T-80's are bricked up like lego toys with ERAs today?

What I'm saying the crews will not be able to survive the shock and explosion caused by the shell alone, coming through the turret. Or you have evidence proving otherwise?

Wow.. Do you know Type 99 MBT is never for sale? So how does China is happy to give the latest Technology?

That is why VT-1A existed. It was based on Type96 MBT and trying to incoporate the best possible export technology for foreign customer. Type99 MBT is never for sale. This is a hard fact.

Comparable to T 80 does not mean VT-1A is gonna have same armor and electronics. Importantly there are many versions of T 80. So its not ironic.

I wouldn't worry about challenge. Citing 'Chinese website' is about as informative as citing 'Indian website' or 'American website'. I find one just now that tells me the Earth is flat.
