What would be the Chinese Defence Strategy against Alien Attack?

Hey guys I was watching NatGeo's When Aliens Attack and it talked about the potential scenarios of fighting an alien invasion. It goes on about how the military wouldn't last very long and would have to a insurgency fighting strategy to defeat the aliens.

This show was presented with a very American/Western audience in mind. They make sure not to use the phrase People's War. The show also mentioned that the US military has plans to resist an alien attack of course no details mentioned.

So what would be the your defensive strategy against an alien attack/invasion of China?

And please don't go directly to a people's war strategy or assume the aliens will follow the same Japanese invasion of China strategy.

Swarm tactic. Tens or hundreds of thousands suicide bombers riding balloons attack the stationary alien mother ships globally and simultaneously. That is the end result of the National Geographic story.

I just finish watching a repeat showing... sheeeesh! It was like watching a sci-fi channel version of Independence Day. And the ballon ride up to the alien ships... Like they could control direction?

If I were aliens and wanted to see humans destroyed all I'd do is give something that was low-tech and harmless to me but super advanced to humans and give it to say... China. Then sit back and watch everyone nuke each other.

Aliens would have shields so the balloon guys won't be able to get in
Or shoot them down? I'd be terrified if ants started doing that

If an alien race is not interested in taking over the Earth but very interested in wiping out human beings all they have to do is enter orbit, and drop rocks. Good luck defending against 10,000 dinosaur killers.

I liked the one which said the alien mothership would just deathstar the earth once enough of its drones and stuff get taken out.
I mean hey if you can't beat them, vapourize them.

scenarios like these make for good Hollywood movies but probably not in reality. Common now! if an advance race of aliens who has mastered interstellar travel and worm hole technology etc really wants to wipe us out I'm sure we wouldn't stand a chance!
All they have to do is send some kind of super virus or fast spreading microorganisms and we'll all be gone in no time or they can just 'Alderaaned' the Earth assuming they're not here for the resources.
