Hua Guofeng cemetery built

do you remember Hua Guofeng 华国锋? the former chines leader. now,Hua Guofeng cemetery nearing completion at Bei Gua Hill in northwest of Jiaocheng county, Shanxi province. Cemetery covers an area of ​​10 hectares (equivalent to 14 standard football field),it's very much like the tomb of Sun Yat-sen super in Nanjing, I am so surprise about the news.

Maybe CCP want to give him something to compensate for it,but should they build such super great mausoleum for him? however Hua Guofeng had no great contribution like Sun Yat-sen.

I dont think Hua deserves that grand of a cemetery, and he'd probably flip in his grave if he hear about this too. However I think the whole idea is CCP is starting to revise history bit by bit and acknowledge him positively for his contribution in forever changing the roads that CCP will take with the reforms.

I doubt it. This doesn't look like a central government decision, being in a rural Shanxi area. Sounds a lot more like a local government decision.

I also think about this point, maybe the local government built such super mausoleum, the purpose is not for politic, the purpose is for developing local tourism, just for money.
in China,many local government try to do every effort developing tourism,some thing very insteresting, I heard that some different local governments fight for a same famous historical person,such as Li Bai 李白,many many.
but at least, the central government agree to give Hua Guofeng something compensate .

Kinda Ironic for you to say since HuaGuoFeng is MaoZeDong hand pick successor. I think you should say he should not have a tomb bigger then Mao.
