Is SDF passing away???

I'd like to see us "wiki" the SinoDefense site and let users create/update pages for the various weapon systems. However any updates should not be automatically approved, it should go into a queue for admin/sysop approval.

Afterwards maybe we can expand the wiki (or create new sections) for other Asian military forces (we can start with ROC/Taiwan).

Great idea. Many of the pages haven't seen update since 2009. Considering that I learned about sinodefenceforum from the sinodefence website I think it is a good idea that we make the main site a "wiki" of sorts so it could attract more experienced members.

Gents all these are good ideas.. the problem is getting DongFeng to make changes to sinodefence.com

I'm surprised that the site is still running. If he is actively paying for it I would have thought he'd take an interest in coming along once in a while. But the fact that it's all paid for suggests he's still....somewhere.

Since the last website update, things really have slowed down. It could be that we have all the speculation in place since we haven't seen anything new coming out. Don't know where DongFeng went (probably spying in China to bring us new info :rofl: ) The last time that I can think of was JF-17 J-10 and the carrier that the Chinese bought cause quite a stir.

Mr.T these sites can be made so that they pay for themselves through the Ads and stuff... so maybe he stopped caring not time ago and just left it there but the money generated by the ads kept this site afloat
