Pakistan is the best friend China has. Unfortunately that whole country has geostrategic, internal political, economic and ecological problems. They have the right to form their own opinions, even if it's a little bit ignorant.

If a minority of Pakistanis have the opinion that Chinese weapons are inferior to what they can get from the West, Chinese people should be magnanimous enough to shrug that off. In fact, the prevailing view among Pakistanis is that China is a better partner than the West for both technology, economy and geostrategy.

I believe that Pak is the only country that will help China if China is at war with someone(you can take India).
So you should stop referring them as beggers and start calling them a strategic ally.

Thanks for re-opening the topic. I think that the discussion should be more technical based then opinion based. About those that defamed the one that posted his text about J10 in Zuhai. Well, I know the guy (as you can see on several forums) and I know the background good enough to say that he did not say anything wrong. You can have F22 performing like F18. Doesn't say anything about the pilots nor the plane. We had PAF testpilots pulling JF17 to edges (and sometimes not!) but all in a solo display. Not comparable with dynamic environment a team has to cope with. I would not do high G pullings in a formation. It is all about grace and not raw power. So surely we can comment or start degrading others but let us move towards a healthy contribution and try to understand the backgrounds of comment of posters.

It will be an honour to see the Chinese perform. I think next time I will accept 24 hours trip to see them. I do not care whether they have one plane to show or the whole team. As an aviation crazy person this is part of major developments in our history and (as I predicted often) it would change airforces for many nations. At the moment there is only one player that shocks the aviaiton world frequently... That is China and it is not because they fail but because they deliver results un-imaginable. It should not make you unsure when one makes some comment. Be proud. You should be. Anyone would trade with you.

I'm surprised that China and Pakistan never had Top gun style exercises. If they had, I don't think these Pakistani pilots would've made such a remark. Their remarks suggest factual ignorance of Chinese pilot skills.

China has always had excellent pilots. Vietnam war, many of the aces were Chinese. Not sure about Korean war. I wouldn't automatically put Pakistan over China

Stop stirring:nono:

The PAF pilot did not intend to be insulting. His remarks could have been mis- interpreted. It could have intended remarks be taken as constructive criticism because PAF is buying J 10s, so therefore know the Chinese pilots could have put on a better display.

Or maybe it was a poor attempt at humour because some people are offended by remarks;)

Baibur, not stirring anything. The remarks of these Pakistani pilots suggest some ignorance of Chinese pilot capabilities. It brings up the legitimate question of the degree of interaction between the two airforces. As allies, I'm surprised PAF pilots would make such a remark. Either the Pilot was joking, or it is an indication the two airforces have limited or no training together.

Personally, I believe the Chinese pilots are very well trained, among the best in Asia including South Asia.
