just picture, no info, israel rifle also carry this device, to increase accuracy,is this red dot aiming device.?

yes, EOTech is the market leader in HWS - holographic weapon sights.
Basically it allows for more effective CQB situations because operators can aim with both eyes open for better situational awareness while engaging targets.

These sights are nowadays mostly carried by the entire US forces as it helps in accurate firing at close distances, urban warfare. Other forces also use it, its becoming common with the passage of time.

China has some companies make knockoffs / replicas for them but those are merely props for airsoft guns (and that means export, since not all airsoft gun players got the deep pocket for the real deal), nobody that dumb to use them on real gun; and neither do any 3rd party producers made the M1913 adapter for real Type 81/95 rifles nor any adopted for official use.

Airsoft player then? Nah, even at its peak no Type 81 ever made as AEG so that ruled out.

Maybe some PAP teams that'd took part in the foreign competitions? If they got the budget to get Remington M700 series sniper rifles they can get so EOTech HWS too? Personally I doubt such theory too.

The pic just generate a whole lot of question...

Yes, that device might available everywhere in the U.S (I don't know), but does PLA adopts it? Judging from the picture, the device is installed in a very odd position (very high and not directly to the gun). If you look at the guy, his eye is surely not aiming through the device.

Well, I do not 100% say that it is PSed, I just question the credibility of the picture. Here is a seriously modified AK (74?) with the red dot aiming device.

At those heights (the installation and relation to his posture), he's using the iron sights.

As to the availability, those surely ain't adopted in China - targeting aid like such are new to the Chinese, and to be adopted by the PLA there must be locally produced equivalent. Not to mention there's no way the US would allow this to export en mass to China, eh?

The credibility of the pic is really questionable.
