Could you further elaborate on this?
The target missile for the PLAAF will be launched from the IWB of the H-20 (and thus exceed the capabilities of the H-6).

the amount of information coming from this parade and Trio's podcast is mind boggling.
if you follow old ICBM/SLBM thread, we have been tracking next gen heavy ICBM and there was hint of next gen SLBM too. so JL-4 does exist..

Yes, a large-caliber HCM YJ-XX launched by 850mm VLS that can deal with large ships (aircraft carriers). YJ-19's warhead is limited by the diameter of the torpedo tube, it has some difficulty dealing with aircraft carriers.Yet another VLS launched anti-ship missile?
They hint that the YJ-XX is close to completion or has actually been completed. Because the development of the YJ-19, which is smaller and requires underwater launch, is more difficult. Now that the YJ-19 is complete, there is no much of the problem with the YJ-XX.

i *think* the photo is a composite since the order of the formation is weird + it miss a couple of the formations + the distance between the formations is not realistic

They simply decided to keep the trainer aircraft formations mysterious - sometimes absent, sometimes appearing in different echelons. Making my effort extremely harder.
