If I still lived in San Diego I'd be happy Brasil lost. Why? There were a lot of Brazilians in my neighborhood..Pt Loma. And when Brasil won the WC in 2002 they were up early in the day celebrating.. It was ridiculous...

Well... if USA won, you would have done the same thing. Take it easy. However, it was a great pain to me to see the Brazil lose. Due to this, I predict the Argentina will also lose tonight. Let's see.

holy smokes
brazil is out
who knew?

IMO, they deserved to lose.

After taking the lead, they got complacent. When the Oranje equalised, the Brazilians couldn't sort themselves out. When the Oranje took the lead, the Brazilians lost their head and promptly got a red card. The Brazilian team simply don't have the mental fortitude to win a game once they are behind in goals. That's not the mark of a world champion.

And with this defeat, their #1 FIFA ranking is likely to be affected as well. Time for them to look at what went wrong and learn the lessons for the next world cup in 2014, which they are hosting.

Massive ownage? That's putting it mildly. The second half especially was pure hardcore BDSM rape porn.

it's a huge slap right across the ear that will still ring next morning when they wake up

just when england had it bad, argentina's now the top head trophy on display

I really don't like Germany. Everytime I think of them, I think of the Germans from Beerfest.

But that Blitzkrieg is going to be hard to stop in any case.

He He, My favourite two teams are still in it Germany and Holland.

Germany are mentally tough and ruthlessly efficient. What I like about this German team is, it lacks a superstar, and all the players work as a team. Actually I believe the German team has a high percentage of mixed nationals in the team.

by far they're the team im cheering for this year, and im hopeful of them
u're right
they're young, but not superstars
but wt they arent, they are wt others arent, and that is teamwork
they played as a team
schwensteigger cut right thru the defense and simply passed the ball to klose
they didn't care about personal glory, and for that, they bring national pride and glory
and even the team is young and so-called inexperienced, but they don't seem so at all. look at klose when he tap the ball into the goal -- calm and no rushing. that way the ball will not fly, and which means a definite goal

and they not only have excellent defense, but also excellent tactics. their counterattacks(combination of coordination, teamwork, and passing) proved so effective against argentina they kept using it, and that got them the last 2 goals

it killed england, and now argentina too. maradona is totally in pain. i can simply say, if their opponent don't have a gd defense and teamwork, they're in for a very nasty ending

in addition, germany has the hardest route throughout this fifa. they faced one strong team after another, and that they actually gained a lot of experience. in contrast, other nations didnt face that many of hard opponents this year, but netherlands will definitely pose a gd challenge to this team

plus their stability, consistency, and calmness put them on top of everyone else they have faced so far

this team really is like the wolf's pack. absolutely lethal. i think their coach must have taught them well.

i only hope they keep it up, and wont get success go over their head and get the better of them. otherwise a defeat will be painful and disastrous. for all that hard work, not the time to mess up.

and my thoughts on spain? we'll now see wt happens
