Uruguay won, but Ghana has performed remarkably well. Brazil's performance in the second half is a little disappointing. Dutch should be proud, but I like the old Dutch team more. However, winning sometime is more important.

Me , I said in my earlier thread that I would like the Netherlands to get through, though i could only hope and pray though against Brazil. There is a god afterall :D The Netherlands are the best European team never to have won the cup IMO. Ghana blew it in the last second penalty shot. The soccer gods would not grant me my second wish, though i did have a $2 bet on the game for a draw. Fantastic goal by Forlan? though

If I still lived in San Diego I'd be happy Brasil lost. Why? There were a lot of Brazilians in my neighborhood..Pt Loma. And when Brasil won the WC in 2002 they were up early in the day celebrating.. It was ridiculous...

LMAO when i saw kaka dribbling down the field passed three defenders, i knew the brazilians as a team have just collapsed
