Dam I wanted to see the Dutch win it against any team. IMO they have played good soccer over the decades and are one of the more honest teams.

Yeah the Dutch and Uruguay have been the stealth teams, quietly putting games away without much publicity.
I'm not a soccer fan like you fellows..but how about a replay of the 1978 finale? Argentina Vs the Dutch?
That was the very first WC game I ever saw. I remember it was not on broadcast Tv in the US..But at the time I lived in San Diego and we could get Mexican TV from Tijuana. I had heard about this World Cup excitement so I tuned in the game just in time for the beginning ..in time to see the Argentine side to saunter on to the pitch amidst a torrent of white confetti and noise beyond belief. The fanatics chanted Ar-gen-tina!!..Ar-gen-tina!!..Ar-gen-tina!!. Over and over again!!..eventually the Argentine side won the match in extra time 3-1..I remember thinking..will this game ever end?...The next day I went to work at HSL-31 and found not one "sports fan" have viewed the game except me...

And I would love to see Uruguay as #3. Forlan and Suarez have been fantastic.

The Japan Paraguay game was rather dull, for that I put most of that on the way Paraguay played...........Slooooooow
